We visit the Salvenstadl twice in winter sports. We visited at the end of the afternoon, originally expected an apres ski atmosphere, but they are what they preach a pub. They have live music and the bands differ daily. Both days there were good bands with different styles (modern pop versus rock . Both evenings there was a good mood, the pub was well visited, the terraces outside remained empty (no problem). The bar service was good and fast. I liked the mulled wine :
Fantastic spot for apres ski - great bands, great atmosphere, very friendly and of course the obligatory dancing on the tables - have enjoyed myself here on so many occasssions and this last week was no exception - also was showing the Six Nations Rugby which was great. Steak burgers are great here too and just the perfect thing to keep you going til dinner
Usually the first stop for most folk coming down of the mountain after a hard days skiing! Good breakfast rolls in morning or steak rolls around 5pm. Can get a great atmosphere when busy, live bands most nights, some hit and miss! Can get smokey at times as most pubs as people can't be bothered to walk 10m for a cigarette outside!

The Salvenstadl is a great Apre Ski bar great beers great service the bar get really busy from 16.00 to 20.00 but you never have to wait long to get served.There is entertainment on most afternoons through the Ski season some really great bands if you get chance to see the Frog an the Tyne GO they are really great.
