You do have to ask for a separate vegan menu which consists of 3-4 options. The options are all pretty much the same with slight differences. It’s nice to have the option of coming here with meat eaters to get a meal. Free chips and salsa. Plus the portions are large. I just wish there options were a little different from each other, maybe like a sweet potato taco or pulled “jackfruit” taco or something.

when searching the menu for vegetarian options we could make vegan, we asked our waitress and she went and got us an entirely vegan menu! there were 4 options, but the hassle of asking for accommodations on a vegetarian meal was no longer an issue! we got the vegan quesadilla and it was good! the only thing is there were no vegan cheese options, but very glad to have a separate menu.

While it is great, they have a separate vegan menu, it is nothing super exciting. eating is okay, but honestly prefer chipotle. badly mounted and personal is very uneducated on vegan as I was served a veggie burger promised it was vegan until 3 bites in another server informed me that it contained milk. always trust your mouth!

sam diego was a great choice. they have a vegan menu with three options, and the salsa and guac are good.
