Rice was cooked perfectly. Beef was tender. Chicken was crispy but moist. Naan was fluffy and delicious. I’m told the Hummus is amazing.
Sameem is an excellent spot to enjoy delicious and high-quality Afghan cuisine. If you're looking to try something different, they offer a wide range of appetizers and main dishes to choose from. I highly recommend the Ash (Afghan noodle soup) and the lamb Qabelli. They can get quite busy and the service may be a bit slow at times, so be patient with them. The food is definitely worth the wait!
My girlfriend works across the street and we absolutely love this place. When you first enter, you don’t feel like you’re entering some show and I look at restaurants like that as they care more about the food and boy my assumptions are right. The food is absolutely fantastic! We always get the same waiter, and he is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming.

We ordered takeout and enjoyed a delicious Lamb Qabelli Palau, chicken beriani, and Afghan Muntoo. All of the dishes were flavorful and I highly recommend trying them.
Finally got to eat at Sameem's location. I had been enjoying their catering in the Cortex district, so eating there in person was really special. The food was amazing!
I ordered delivery from this restaurant and my order was ready for pick up when I arrived.
