This place used to be my favorite for Lebanese sweets, the quality and freshness was excellent, I have been disappointed with the staff’s attitude, they are becoming cocky and unhelpful, I purchased a kilo of a particular sweet to the value of and felt...it needed more garnish on top, however, I asked for more cream and the offered syrup was a tiny tub, whereby other establishment include a large bottle of syrup for the Kilo, the assistant bumped the price up to for the dehydrated cream that she included and the little tub of syrup that should have been included with the price, and that's not all, the sweets did not look moist or very fresh ,and I found that if you don’t buy a kilo you don’t...
Abla's has been a go-to spot for celebrating special occasions or visiting relatives for years. Whenever we need to bring a dish to someone's house, we always make a quick stop at Abla's to pick up a mixed plate of baklava, biscuits, or our favorite lady's arms. They also offer great packages for events such as new babies or weddings. The interior is captivating, with a large space filled with interesting decorations, such as giant platters of baklava. Street parking is available, with the front being a bit busy but spots can usually be found on the side streets.
I used to drive out to Granville to get Lebanese sweets and found this place by accident. You can buy EVERY Lebanese sweet and pastry here for presents for parties or for yourself. They have sweets that are fresh that i had not come across...before. My daughter's mother-in-law used to make her own baclava etc (she is Lebanese background) but honestly, Abla's is better. You won't find ANYONE of Lebanese background in Sydney who does not drool at the mention of Abla's. Don't go if you are on a diet.
The baklava at this restaurant was amazing. The layers of pastry melted in my mouth and had a fantastic flavor. It was definitely the best baklava I have ever had in Sydney. They offer a variety of baklava and other pastries in small pieces and sell them by weight. While it may be a bit more expensive than the baklava I had in Rockdale, it was still reasonably priced and absolutely delicious.

Seems like it...might end up more expensive than the last baklava I got in Rockdale but still reasonable and it was just so good.
This place has the best lady fingers (not sure if I called it the right thing).. My goodness it's definitely worth the try. If you have a sweet tooth, you must go here just for the sweets. Its a nice place to go for a...quick catch up with friends and family.
This is our local outlet for Lebanese sweets and desserts and has passed the test of time for consistent quality. Always made fresh on premises it is worth the effort to seek out this store. Great for special occasions and where you have to bring...a plate
What a great way to end a Lebanese food day out. Loved the Lady Finger dessert and all the other sweets on offer (and there was a lot of varieties) . Topped them off with a strong coffee and now the day is complete. Greta...job ladies.

The BEST baklavas this is baklava heaven. Buy by the kilo, great value for money and oh so good...but watch your waist!
Really great Lebanese cakes and terrific staff. Very pleasant to linger over coffee, not noisy-so very easy to chat.
