I had a bad experience at this restaurant. I ordered the vegan Ramen and the bao buns with a couple of drinks. The service was terrible, as we had to wait about 2 hours for our food even though they weren't very busy. The bao buns were just okay, but for $10 they were more like an appetizer than a meal. The ramen was also just okay, but it came out room temperature. It was so disappointing that I wanted to send it back, but we couldn't find our waitress. By that point, we were so hungry and just wanted to leave. I'm not sure if I would give this place another try.
Vegan approved!! Sweet Potato Rolls are fantastic!! Samurai Noodle Bar Grill does an excellent job making Vegan sushi. Their customer service is impeccable, too! They truly care about their customers, and that speaks volumes. If you are ever near downtown Mystic, CT, please go check out this aHHmazing restaurant. It’s beautifully decorated with cherry blossoms, which adds an exotic touch to the ambiance. Tai Au (owner) is a wonderful lady. Had a pretty bad experience. Got the vegan rams and the bao bungalows with a few drinks. Service was cruel, we were waiting for food for about 2 hours and they were not so busy. The Bao rolls were fine, but for $10 they were much more like an appetizer, definitely not a meal. The ramen was okay, except the fact that it came to the table room temperature. It was so bad I wanted to send it back, but we couldn't find the waitress. At this point we starved and just wanted to get out. Not sure if I would give them another try
I ordered the lunch special, which included tofu pad Thai, spring rolls, miso soup, and fried banana. None of the dishes were outstanding, but they weren't bad either. Overall, I probably wouldn't return specifically for that meal. The Ramen soups caught my eye and seemed promising. Although I didn't try one on this visit, I would consider giving them a try if I decided to come back.

I'll be back in the final. the wrong suppe surprised me how tasteful it was. it had bok choy, shiiitake and scaling in an amazingly tasty and satisfying nebel broth. the menu included other items labeled as vegan (pho, bao steamed rolls), as well as other items that are not specifically called vegan but could be vegan (e.g. veggie ramen, ingwer veg stir fry).
Ordered the Shanghai noodle and it was very tasty. Friends ordered the miso soup, veggie fried rice and chicken ramen, which they all enjoyed. The service was great and timely. The decor was simply beautiful. Definitely recommend this hidden gem and will revisit in the future.Food: 5/5
We almost didn't come due to some of the reviews on here, but so glad we did! Our experience was amazing, nothing like the negative reviews. Our server missy was very attentive and kind. Food was delicious. Huge portions, with very fair prices. Def will be coming backFood: 5/5
Slow service (tables left and right were not cleared after guests left, see picture). ‚Mixed‘ sushi plate (main course) offered only two types of roles. No bottled water available. Overall not impressive at all.Food: 3/5

Really nice place, beautifully decorated with great service staff. The food was good but it wasn’t the best spicy salmon roll I’ve had, I definitely recommend the Drawbridge special roll!Food: 4/5
