San Tonino - Reservar una mesa

After a long trip and a stay at a local hotel in Shaftesbury, we had made a reservation online at San Tonino Italian Restaurant. I was hoping for an authentic Italian dining experience, and I was not disappointed! The staff were friendly, and the food was excellent—there was nothing to criticize. The Margherita pizza was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, with a light and flavorful dough. My husband's chicken dish in tomato sauce with fresh vegetables was lovely, and my lasagna was simply perfect! On the positive side, the service was exceptional, earning a solid five stars for its attentiveness and friendliness. Unfortunately, the atmosphere left much to be desired, with a rating of only one star. I had dinner tonight with my mother, my daughter, and her cousin (11 years old). The mussels were truly the best I've ever had—the sauce was impeccable. Just a warning to those who are sensitive about cooking! The main course was just as wonderful, and the dessert, a panna cotta from the dessert menu, melted in my mouth; it was heavenly. The staff was very efficient and extremely friendly. Thank you for a lovely meal!

Eating was tasty, the service started really good, but as there were more busy other customers were the employees priority, although the staff apologised and we were offered a free drink, but we wanted to have home staff friendly, courteous eating very well would recommend, but maybe a few more staff could have helped

Excellent. Fabulous tasty variety of starters and mains. Fresh and wholesome. Staff really on the ball. Whilst it was quiet on a Sunday evening it made no difference to our enjoyment of what was a truly special meal. Heartily recommend this authentic taste of Italy.

Delicious real Italian food served by friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is that it is quite noisy but given that the building is a quirky old church it's to be expected. And...what's not to love about the sound of people enjoying themselves
