The Coppleridge Inn

We booked a table for a group of four at 6.30pm. On arrival we were shown into the empty restaurant and asked if we had booked. We were then asked if we would like to see the menu strange!! The waitress returned with two menus, and said she only had two as all the rest had disappeared. One of the menus she presented to us looked as if it had been used to wipe the floor, wet, soggy and smudged. Each of us ordered something different. Two of the meals were good the other two were not. We told the waitress that one of the meals was really not good. The waitress offered to have it replaced. My wife suggested that rather than replacing it, it might be better to adjust the bill. Five minutes later...

During our two-week stay in the UK in late July, we spent two nights at this inn. We chose it for its convenient location between London and Cornwall, and its proximity to Stonehenge. Getting there by car was easy thanks to the signs from the A350. The inn is nestled in a peaceful rural area, providing a welcome change of pace from bustling London. Our room was spacious and meticulously clean, with some charming vintage touches that were well-maintained. A real gem. Beautiful hotel with lovely gardens and scenery. We only stayed for 1 night but the room was lovely, the bed was the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on. We even contacted the hotel when we got back to ask for the make of the mattress! Very friendly staff and a great full English breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

We arrange a family gathering to celebrate a recent marriage and Tina.together with the team looked after us very well. Everyone enjoyed the evening and food and they catered for those people with special dietary needs. Those people stopping overnight were very happy with their rooms and the hospitality offered.

Lovley family Sunday lunch with lashings of tasty and well presented roast. Awesome bao bun and cheesecake for pudding. Friendly staff in a nice environment. Lovely views from the terrace. Bravo ! Come here, you will have a nice time. There were 8 of us aged for 8 to 80 and we all felt at home.

The Coppleridge Inn hosted a weaving workshop for a small group. Graham and Michael were very friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. The sandwiches, teas and coffees were very enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate recommending the Coppleridge as a venue I will definitely go back.

I want to give a big thanks to Michael and his team for their hard work in making our party for 29 guests such a memorable experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very laid back. Our friends who stayed overnight said the rooms were very comfortable.

Great place for family 60th wedding anniversary party. Staff laid out two alternative rooms to eat, as it was a hot day, and they gave us more space. Lovely lazy lunch, service outstanding. Food excellent. Would recommend for any party/family gatherings.
