I would rate this restaurant more accurately as 4.5 stars. The food is good, but not extraordinary. I would suggest more authentic Spanish dishes. It’s not Spanish just because you name it something Spanish. Maybe next time I go there will be Burnt Basque Cheesecake on the menu. But it was good. Nobody complained. The place is clean and the service was very competent and friendly. One Dominican young lady was very pleasant and always smiling.

Great Sangria options and lots of tapas to choose from. They have Karaoke and other themed nights so check before you go. There's three separate dining sections so don't worry if you don't want to be where the music and singing is. You can always request to sit somewhere else. Really enjoyed the branzino, scallops with lemon sauce and the fish croquettes. Excellent menu options even for kids.

Really good Brunch restaurant! The food was really good as well as the bottomless sangrias! My steak was cooked to perfection and the tapas we ordered for the table was delicious. We came to celebrate our friends birthday, but will definitely come back if we're ever in the area again.

We've been coming to this restaurant for 9 years and it has always been great. The choices and food are always consistent and good. Luis is an amazing server and always very attentive. Tapas are filling although their main dishes are amazing as is their sangria and desserts.

We live in NJ but are on LI for the weekend and decided to try Sangria 71 Island Park. Our waiter Alberto, was professional and Attentive. We have eaten at several Spanish restaurants but the food tonight was exceptional!! We will definitely be back

The most wonderful customer service and lovely waiters. Note: the food is good but may be too salty/strong for those with asian palates. A good place to try out Spanish cuisine nevertheless.

We went for my birthday and had a wonderful time The food was excellent and Nicole our server is a sweetheart very helpful They had one of their staff sing to me which was such fun!

Sangria 71 is a must go hidden gem. Empanadas, guacamole tacos Plus a alfredo flambe. Drinks are amazing, staff is fast and friendly, so glad we are moving into the neighborhood

Lobster special was great. Had one broiled and one steamed.
