The server who attended to me was friendly and well-informed about the menu, and the food was fantastic. Although I don’t typically eat much Mexican food, I decided on a combination of a steak burrito and chimichanga. Both dishes were delicious and exactly what I was craving. I appreciate that sour cream and beans were offered on the side, which suited my preference for just steak, cheese, and rice perfectly. My companion ordered the shrimp fajitas, which were also excellent.
I opted for a peach sangria—how could I resist ordering a drink that shares the restaurant's name? It was wonderfully refreshing on a hot summer day. I will definitely return!

I visited Sangria's in Nanuet for the first time this weekend for dinner with friends. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We kicked things off with the guacamole, which was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were also excellent. Each of us ordered different main dishes—chicken, shrimp, and vegetarian—and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The staff was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Since it was our first time getting together since before Covid, we had a lot to catch up on, and as our conversation turned to some serious topics, we realized we were the last ones in the restaurant! I tried the seafood soup, and it was excellent! The clams, mussels, shrimp, and fish were cooked to perfection, and the broth was tasty as well. The only criticism I have is that they included large pieces of peppers and onions, which I personally didn’t enjoy. If it were me, I would have blended them to make the broth slightly thicker, but overall, the soup was fantastic.
We also ordered shrimp in Tapatio hot sauce, which was great, and the quesadilla and tacos were very good too. Everything is made fresh and cooked to order. Overall, the food here is excellent, and I would definitely come back, especially for the nachos!
I came across this hidden gem and was thoroughly impressed. The food was fresh, served piping hot, and bursting with flavor. The drinks were just as delightful, crisp, and refreshing. We ordered a generous portion of guacamole to accompany our chicken fajitas and tacos, which we enjoyed alongside a margarita and blackberry sangria. Visiting the place for work, I really enjoyed the food! Meals are big and really tasty! The personnel is really nice! Place has a lot of space with comfortable distance between tables. Music isn't too loud. The overall atmosphere is truly welcoming!
