Sao Sao - Reserva de mesa

my friend and I were there discussing what to eat for lunch, since everything (or almost) is expensive there. we decided to go to sao sao, I never tried, but she had it. it was a HOT...Summer Day withte august and the waiter even advised us a table that the ac was broken, the thoughtful. they had fans, so it wasn't too bad. I had a gi cun roll as entrée and it was delicious! I could have eaten two or three of them and had been full! the soaking they give you with him was also crazy. I could say they were fresh because I asked the waiter to avoid zilantro being set and it doesn't smell like they just removed it. as a top plate I had bò nng with rice and the little salate. it was grilled bark...

I've been to this restaurant a number of times and every time I've had a great experience. My favorite is the papaya salad, the spring rolls with shrimp, the wok or grill options have always tasted great with just the right seasoning. Try the fried...banana for dessert, it always hot and tastes delicious, perfect way to end the meal. Food is cooked to order so if the restaurant is busy just sit back with friends, wine and be patient, as a society we've come to expect instant everything.....sometimes good things come to those who wait!

Made a lovely discovery last night in going to Sao Sao. Although the exterior is unassuming the restaurant is well appointed and the setting was welcoming. Not too calm not too noisy. The little divisions between tables work well. We had a variety of dishes,...a lot of depth to the dishes. A few perhaps a bit greasy but yummy. soup was amazing. A bit disappointed by the General Sao but overall a nice meal at a reasonable price. Service was attentive. I did not know... this is a bring your own wine restaurant.

we haven't been in sao sao, since restaurants were closed for several months, but we had chosen. came here early on Thursday evening, sat immediately and they brought an ice-cream for our wein. I ordered the nems and we...both got bowls (hühner tofu). both were great, they brought us dripping sauce, because we did not eat fish sauce and all the ingredients were super fresh. we loved our meal. prices have risen, but it was expected. We ordered from the set menu. The pho was okay. The cold vermicelli with pork was quite good. I like that it had lots of veggie. The pork was tasty but it a little on the burnt side. The appetizers were not; just not very...tasty. I wouldn't say the dishes are traditional Vietnamese food though. A little tweaked ... not that the change is bad. Pretty quiet on a Tuesday night.

the restaurant sao sao is well located as it is just next to Asian super market and close to the waiter was really friendly and offers a fast service. but eating was good, teller were small and my wife didn't find the pho. was the tasty

Visited this restaurant with my family adults and kids). The food was delicious and the service was great, but the kitchen was slow that night. Would definitely recommend and would go back myself.

Nice, clean place for casual eating. Food is good and service as well. Go for traditional Vietnamese soup. On top of it its BYOW.
