My partner and I are regulars at Sapori because the quality of the experience it offers, food, service and ambiance, is consistently quite high. Consistency is this restaurant’s hallmark. You can reasonably anticipate very well prepared dishes every time, salads, pastas, standard fish and meat dishes, as well as daily specials. The Branzino is as well prepared as you will find anywhere. I love the salads and pastas. The restaurant has the feel of Italy about it, though the portions tend to be much larger. This is a two course, not a three course restaurant. The wine list is authentic and the corkage standard for the area. On balance, I feel this is the best Italian restaurant in the Newport...
We frequent Sapori often and always enjoy its expertly prepared, quite authentic Italian dishes, favoring the arugula salad and all of their pastas and fish preparations. On this evening, the food was terrific. However, despite having a reservation and seeing several tables empty and set, we were made to wait for a table to be bussed and reset. Didn’t quite understand the why of it inasmuch as other, similar tables were left empty. It also took several minutes fo our waiter to begin service. Once begun, all flowed nicely.
Dining, perfect from start to finish. Sapori's patio is the place to dine. The swordfish special was incredible, love the fact that you can substitute pasta for the veggies. Don't miss the Sapori salad butterleaf lettuce, hearts of palm, candied walnuts, crisp apple, fabulous crisp taste. Our out of town guest said the lasagna was the best he had ever eaten. Enjoy!
we came to sapori to try a new place for our date night and safe enough we were not disappointed eating the hidden garden and especially the service everything was great! our server paulo was very nice and friendly in restaurant for 33 years and recommended couple excellent dishes! we will be coming back

Enjoyed the seating in the patio which offers a garden setting being that the restaurant is located in a higher end strip mall. Great food and atmosphere. The specials were delicious. Wait staff were great as well. Great go to for classic delicious Italian food.

Service was good. Food was good. Chicken could have been served hotter but still was good. Will definitely go back.
