was last week with my family in the sasso. at the beginning everything was in order; the service was friendly and fast. soon afterwards, however, it suddenly became much fuller (not surprisingly at the long weekend around the first mai) and it seems that the personal could not really handle it. the restaurant allowed groups of guests with people who apparently had already had a few beers; they made quite much noise and when someone from our group told the waiter about it and asked if he could tell them to reduce their noise level, the waiter said that he cannot do this because it is a publicly accessible restaurant. we thought that was a rather strange behavior and he probably took care of t...
eating was absolutely delicious! very nice staff, some even enjoyed our banter! more lively than I expected on Wednesday night, but that only speaks for the restaurant. the atmosphere was beautiful, all inclusive of the bathroom was clean and accessible. the prices are absolutely appropriate for the quality of food, atmosphere and service.
Apart from the fact that the sasso is about the corner of my place of residence (as very practical)!, my favorite on the menu is the antipasti department, but I can also recommend pizza and pasta as I do not eat so often meat. a reservation at the weekend is advisable.
Excellent local restaurant. Busy even on weekdays. Friendly servers. Provided a menu in English as well and had servers who spoke English, too. Lovely atmosphere for either a private dinner or for a family or work group

Italian family-run restaurant. great delicious food. something difficult to find, but eating is very authentic.
The pizza here is delicious!! I would say it's one of the top places in Oldenburg to get pizza.
