Satay on Charcoal - Reserva de mesa

Satay on Charcoal is small, and not the easiest restaurant to find, but when you find it, it’s a real treasure because the food is authentic and delicious. It’s on Mends Street but behind the South Shore mall and behind the Windsor Hotel, in the car park, nestled in between the pub and mall next to a pizza joint. We walked past twice before we finally located the cafe.

Located only a few minutes from South Perth foreshore, SOC provides an authentic Malaysian dining experience without breaking the budget. My favourite is Nasi Lemak (more specifically the spicy beef randang). I also tried the iced lychee (on a 37 degree day)...definitely a winner!! <br/ <br/ Service is quick and efficient.

Lovely and friendly Malaysians running an old school Malay eatery. Has a traditional feel to it. Went twice in a week! Have tried the nasi goreng, nasi lemak chicken rendang and ayam kunyit. Not disappointed! There is a bit of a wait for satay and food takes a while but it’s so worth it.

Great authentic satay, affordable and good value for money!Mee goreng and nasi goreng are delicious too. However, we found the taste varies on the last few times we came.Seems a bit inconsistent. Drinks are quite a let down as the teh tarik bandung are way too sweet. Reserva una mesa ahora

Always come here to eat the satays chicken and beef. Very tasty and fragrant. Satay sauce is good. Comes withs rice cakes,cucumber and red onions for dipping. Top place to have satays in Perth. Would recommend

Yum yum yum. Tasty malaysian street food. Good variety on the menu. Quick and friendly service. We sat outside which was nice on a chilly monday evening. Will definitely be back for our hawkers fix.

Amazing this is the best most authentic Malaysian food in Perth. Been a chef for 17 years and eaten everywhere. This place is a hidden jem you must try it you'll definitely become a local

Grabbed some satay skewers from the stand at the Monday night Inglewood markets. The flavours are incredible and the peanut sauce wow!!! Chicken was super tender. <br/ Reserva una mesa ahora

Great satay chicken chicken, delicious chicken soup. Noodle rice dishes were ok. Very happy with the chicken, not fatty. Drinks were also good. Definitely recommended

This restaurant is great! The food is very homestyle and authentic and the staff are very friendly and glowing with happiness. Great place for comfort food!
