My family and I came here for a nice dinner and we decided to order a bunch of food to try and pretty much judge whether or not this place was good. We started the evening off with drinks, the Teh Tarik is quite small compared to the ones provided down the road at Makan2 and they didn't serve Coke which seemed fairly weird. We ordered a cheese prata, unfortunately they weren't able to provide a curry with the dish only dhal with sambal. The dish came out alone so it was pretty awkward having one dish there for like five minutes while everyone is hungry. Afterwards, the food started coming out, we got the Chicken Satays, the Beef Rendang, the Curry Puffs, some White Rice and Nasi Lemak and......
we have tried this restaurant twice now, and I must say that overall eating is sufficient, but the service is simply really strange. at the second visit we arrived without a waiter and chose our own table. the tables are unused. we sat there about 10 minutes with our wine bottle on the table. Finally the waiter came out and gave us menus, but did not put the table or delivered glassware. a somewhat disappointing experience. the service was apathetic and slow, we were the first to arrive, and we felt that the staff is almost annoyed. the menu has a good choice to decorate malay and we have been looking forward to some authentic dishes. but a long waiting period brought us sweet soup, which was over salty with sweetness, which were gritty, the rice was dry and tasty, as if had been transferred from previous services and our steamed fish were not cooked completely enough.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. Overall, would not be back anytime soon. A nice atmosphere compared to other Malaysian restaurants. Chicken Satays were good, but Nasi Goreng was beyond tasteless. Service is extremely poor and we waited an hour before we got our meals (restaurant was only half full at this stage). They also served us a wrong meal, and when we told them it was the wrong order, waiter dismissed it and did nothing to attempt to rectify it.
got home last night. so glad, authentic satay is back to the victor park. Chicken satay is sweet and plump sauce and also beautiful. had immersed in juni and service was not as attentive as a five-star restaurant, but we were there for great satay, and got it. menu is not overly complicated and sticks (forget it) with the bases. will order again.
