My wife and I couldn't resist any longer and decided to treat ourselves to a delightful afternoon tea at Savour the Flavour. We were thrilled with the experience. They had delicious vegetarian sandwiches upon request, topped with vegetable crisps, a delightful scone with a slice of strawberry and delectable strawberry jam, a mouth-watering lemon drizzle cake, and a lovely custard and blueberry tart, all accompanied by a refreshing cup of Earl Grey tea. The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the value was incredible at only £10 per person. We highly recommend it, just make sure to book and reserve a table ahead of time.
I chose to ask Savor the Flavor to cater for a few works functions I was organizing as I've always been impressed with the quality of the food. Our last suppliers were very hit and miss and I'd rather support a local business. Well, they didn't disappoint and all our guests were VERY impressed with their boxes (we had to do individual boxes due to Covid) even dietary needs were catered for and they have always stepped up with our last minute orders. I couldn't recommend enough. The quality of food is excellent and the service equality as good.
Savour the flavour. Savour the ice cream! Splendid stop off for a refreshing ice cream. Could be on the continent with the Mediterranean as a backdrop! Well, that’s if the sun comes out. Very tasty ice creams full of flavour. Vanilla very vanillary and the strawberry shortcake was scrumptious. Nice seating area outside to watch the world go by. Service was quick, polite and professional. Definitely a stop off point on a sunny(ish) day. More food options available and a selection of drinks.
We were delighted to stumble upon this hidden gem while traveling back home. Instead of stopping at a main service station, we opted for a charming local tearoom to relax and grab a bite to eat. The staff were incredibly accommodating and informed about dietary restrictions, making sure one of us with a restricted diet had plenty of options. We enjoyed a satisfying and delicious lunch in a lovely atmosphere. Kudos to the exceptional staff for their excellent service.

Decent selection of food to select from and nice coffee. You can sit outside but it is roadside. Service is polite and quick. Sausage and bacon roll is tasty. Sausage is a plain Richmond style. Would be better to be a locally sourced better quality version? Bacon also a bit dry. Ketchup added but a tad sparse. Still a good spot for a bite to eat and a coffee.
Today we went to celebrate a friend's birthday at this restaurant. We tried the afternoon tea and it was absolutely delicious. There was an abundance of food, the staff were friendly, the quality was top-notch, and the price was very reasonable. What more could you possibly want?
Came in with my partner, we had a hot and cold coffee and both were great! The brownie was brilliant too, and was recommended by the woman who served us! We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our stay even though we came in not too long before closing time.
Fantastic range of foods available to eat in or take away. The sandwiches are delicious, made to your requirements with plenty of options. Always great service and takeaway packaged in paper, not plastic!! Lovely spot for lunch in Higham.
