We both opted for the beer-battered fish fry, but to our disappointment, the fish wasn’t beer battered at all; it was simply breaded and obviously frozen. The tartar sauce was the worst I've ever had, and the coleslaw was equally uninspiring. We didn’t want to complain to the waitress; we felt it was better to just pay and leave. It's never a good sign when all the other customers are in their 80s. The decor was just random junk collected over the years—it felt like someone emptied their attic to decorate the place. I will never return to this restaurant! Overall, I give it 0 out of 10. Food: 1, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 1.

My friend and I recently visited Big Fisheries, and we had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the staff was incredibly attentive. As the Wheatfield Town Historian, I can say that this historic venue is truly special and deserves recognition. The building is also very well-maintained. I highly recommend it for any occasion, especially for lunch, dinner, and post-party gatherings.

The wings were mediocre. As for the service, it was excellent. I dined in and my meal fell under a different category. The price per person was between $20 and $30. In terms of ratings: the food gets a 3, the service a 5, and the atmosphere also a 5.

The service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. The atmosphere was enhanced by great music and sports playing on the screens. A perfect place for families!
