Every time I try to order a whole pizza at Sbarro, I'm told there’s a 45-minute wait, which is unacceptable. As a chef with 20 years of experience from NYC, the epicenter of pizza culture, I believe the management or ownership at this location needs to be changed. Although they open at 10 AM, the first pizza isn’t ready until after 11:30 AM—how is that even possible? Having lived in seven states and worked for four franchises, this is by far the worst-managed pizza place in Southern California. I also found their menu lacking efficiency. I expect to be contacted with solutions to improve the management and overall experience at Sbarro.
I used to love their pizza, but it has changed a lot and isn’t worth the price anymore. The pizza was just okay, and it might have been old, which honestly made it worse for me. The breadsticks didn’t come with any marinara sauce, so I had to go back and ask for some. When I did, the guy preparing a large order told me I’d have to wait for him, but the cashier overheard and, since he was just waiting, he brought me the sauce for free. I just wish the sauce made the breadsticks taste better.
As a native New Yorker, I can confidently say that this Sbarro doesn’t measure up to the ones back home. The food was excessively salty, as if someone had poured an entire bag of salt over it.
Hi everyone, I wanted to share that they put way too much ice in the sodas and only allow one refill. I won't be going back.
