Worst dining experience ever, literally. We went for dinner last night and we were the ONLY ones there. Should have been a red flag but there were decent reviews and my son in law had brought us a pizza previously that we enjoyed so we wanted to try the pastas. My husband ordered the lasagna and I ordered a spicy penne pasta that was supposed to come with spinach, bell peppers and a chipotle sauce. The waitress comes out with a dish and puts it in front of me. I ask her if this is my husbands lasagna. She shrugs her shoulders, literally shrugs her shoulders. Having grown up on the near north side of Chicago, I felt ready to put Scalisi's to the test. Given that nothing quite matches my all-time favorite, Gino's pizza on Superior Street in downtown Chicago, I was eager to try Scalisi's. I must say, Scalisi's "2-in-animal" pizza really impressed me. While it might not surpass Gino's, it certainly came close. I was also quite taken with the cheese bread and enjoyed their marinara sauce recipe. Without a doubt, Scalisi's pizza is the best Chicago-style pizza I've found outside of Chicago itself. It's definitely worth your time and a visit. Congratulations to them!
This is located in an older strip center. Danny greeted us and provided excellent service. My husband wanted authentic Chicago deep dish and we were not disappointed. Also they have the Chicago dog done the right way. Pizza cooked fresh and the sauce had a great tomato flavor. Tables and booths available. It took about 30 minutes to get a hot fresh pizza. We ordered a greek salad as well which had a good dressing and lots of feta cheese. It was about the size of a dinner salad for 7.50. Nice and fresh!
We had been wanting to try this restaurant for some time, and we are so glad we did! The food was fantastic—Nabel ordered the Penne Pasta, while I went for the deep dish pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! In addition to the generous portions, the customer service was outstanding. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. The owner, Patty, was also extremely professional and caring; she was incredibly sweet! I highly recommend this place!

This place makes some delicious food. Their sauce is good so everything is good! Had Meatballs, calamari, lasagna and pizza . Lasagna is super creamy and flavorful, love the olives added on . Staff was very nice as well. Wish they had one of these in Floresville, we could use a good Italian place ! Be back next time we're put this way.
Very delicious food. Deep dish and Texas toothpicks were mouthwatering. The deep dish is really cheesy and the crust has a unique flavor. Marinara and garlic combinations make this meal super. I didn’t give it 5 stars for the place could use some touch ups but the food is great.
Great food! Tested the Viennese dog yesterday and went back today for the Italian beef with spicy sausage! Yummy! A recommendation: Call in your deep court pizza before arriving there. As with all deep dish pizzas, it will make about 35-40min.... well worth waiting.
I always thought that the best place to get a Deep Dish in the Valley was Mama Mia’s... that changed tonight. The Chicago Style deep dish pizza knocks out Mamas Mias with ease. It’s full of flavor and didn’t hurt my pocket. Definitely coming back for more!!

Deep dish pizza was not what I was hoping for. Too much cheese and too much sauce. Hardly any pepperoni in it, we left 90% of it due to it being just a mess. Follow me on Instagram for more foodie pics @foodie_theclaw
Great food Creamy Fettuccine Alfredo and Shrimp Great Service as well I highly recommend it my first time here definitely a Must Go Back!!
