we were there on a Saturday afternoon just before 17h and actually wanted to drink coffee but also a hearty meal. the entire local was empty, three waiters seemed bored and we were told that there were cakes only on Sunday. we could eat a waffle, but also only until 17:45h, because then everything would be reserved. ah yes...We then kindly asked if we should not sit on the terrace (weather was 20 degrees with partly sun). again a no service, they would have closed the terrace due to the too bad weather.Since we were very hungry, we decided to have a coffee and a waffel. there is an extra waffle card in the restaurant. the coffee was served long before the waffle, not just well chosen. then t...
after several really successful events with at least 10 people now the surprise: after spontaneous arrival over 40 km we find the ski jump barely filled on Sunday at 16:15 before. three women polish glasses. the terrace is open, but the access is denied. expects a birthday company in advanced retirement age and does not want any other guests. not to find a note. although it is covered for a larger group, there are still any free tables to park. also the indication of wanting to enjoy only one coffee and one waffel is not accepted with alleged instructions by management. zero flexibility and a very unfriendly behavior of the bored dame on the guestbook. the ease of use is therefore directly p...
We went to this place to attend a private extended lunch event. We were invited by our hosts to celebrate the wedding of their son to my friend's daughter. From 11 am to almost 6.30 PM the celebrations and non stop food and drinks flowed and the restaurant handled it flawlessly. From the ambience ( it overlooks a lovely lake ) to an extraordinary varied and sumptuous buffet to wines and drinks that warranted and demanded gluttony they had it all converted . One had to skip dinner and breakfast next was a push . We have promised ourselves a visit here on our own when we find ourselves anywhere near the north of Germany . Thoroughly recommended.
