I made a reservation for a table of 10 for our Diwali celebration, but when we arrived, the table wasn't ready. They attempted to seat us at two separate tables, and eventually placed us in a separate room where the air conditioning was not working. We were told our table would be ready in 10 minutes, but after waiting 15 minutes with no sign of anyone, I went to inquire about it. I also asked if we could have drinks while we waited, but was informed that the bar was closed. After another 10 minutes with no service, we decided to leave. It was an absolute disaster, and I will never return to this restaurant.
On the bright side, the food was good, and the portion sizes were decent. However, I was disappointed with the ‘boneless’ chicken biryani. Instead of chicken breast, it turned out to be breaded fried popcorn chicken that tasted freezer-burned, sauced, and mixed in with the biryani rice. As someone who hails from India and frequently cooks Indian cuisine, I can confidently say that this is not biryani. Overall, that was quite a letdown.
We arrived early and were the first patrons to step in. By the time we finished our meal, the restaurant was packed. The waitstaff was attentive and demonstrated a strong knowledge of the menu. Following the waitress's recommendations, we enjoyed a fantastic meal. The portions were just right, and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning soon!

4months agoIt was my first visit to the Schaumburg and to say that the service was outstanding is an understatement. Everything,from start to finish, was simply wonderful. Everyone was so pleasant and professional. Our meals were exquisite. We had a lovely time here and thank all of the staff members from the servers ,to the chefs) for making our visit a memorable one

Wow! Wow! Wow! I wish I could give this place 7 stars. I love Indian food and have eaten at many Indian restaurants over the years, but this was the best I've had. Every bite was worth closing your eyes and absorbing all the flavors. Sooooo good!
My Indian friends rate this restaurant and today I tried the buffet. It was extremely good and excellent value. I have spent a lot of time in India, I can’t say I know authentic flavor but this felt like it. Highly recommended for Indian in this

Honest life hack Indian banquet halls (when not hosting weddings) are incredible, uncrowded, and about as authentic as you'll find in the USA.This joint proves this theory right. Seriously outstanding. ??
