This is truly a great place except for that one drawback. Located next to the Ducal Brewery on the shore of the beautiful Tegernsee lake, the "Brennerei" (literally "Distillery") also makes fruit schnaps of various types and sells them on the premises. You can see the modern "still" in one of the restaurant rooms.If the weather is good, sit outside on the terrasse and enjoy the scenery. Super great service and delicious food! We were cared for by a really great employee and were therefore there two days in a row (with toddler). Food was also top! Most impressed us by the great employee who immediately recognized us and even knew what we drank and had eaten the day before. There were toys and paintings for our daughter. We felt comfortable all around and spent two great evenings. We'll be back at our next visit to the Tegernsee! Thank you.
See beautiful inner ambience we fled from the rain... but the food goes better. In the duck, the skin was nicely crispy, but under it, tough fibrous meat was bare. Sosse salted, the red herb again very well. The beer ordered came after felt 10 minutes with a falling foam crown.The saibling was tasty ok, but the rice salted again. For this very high price level as a whole very disappointing.
Perfect place for light lunch if a table space is available. I recommend the garden salad with smoked char & horseradish sauce if you want something light...it's a small serve & quite expensive.
This is another one, next to Hotel Ueberfahrt and Faehrhuette. Enjoyed a Weisswurst (white saussage) on the terrace before lunch. Was quite nice in the garden. The lake view is the key. Food ok

this restaurant is a class higher as Bräustüberl so no competition, very good food and nice employes. Also the've a own distellery for schnapps
Terrible service! It took them an hour and a half to get our plates! They did not tell us that the grill was not working! Go somewhere else!!
