Schmidt's Pastry Cottage

I called this morning in a panic, after my oven went out. I got Alexis on the phone and told her my saga and how I needed a German Chocolate cake ASAP. She was so cool, helped me find laughter and let me know there was one available. She took my name and said I could pay when I got there. Dropped everything I was doing and headed over. Met Alexis in person and she was just as wonderful. I bought a couple of Easter themed sugar cookies and an Apple fritter too. The fritter was beyond amazing, the cookies I gave to coworkers. The cake I will try tonight at a bday party. Thank you, Alexis and Schmidt’s for saving the day. You have made a customer for life.

These guys always do a great job. Love everything they bake and the customized products like cakes are awesome. Did you know they can put an image you send them on a cake and it's edible?All that said... Check your order before leaving. Twice now, they have forgotten a part of mine and I didn't know until the Sunday I needed it and they are closed Sundays.They always make it right (with a refund), but after the event without the food isn't the best solution.

What a wonderful experience we just had! I took my kiddos here with me for an after school treat and the girl that helped us was adorable (Alexis I think? She engaged in conversation with my kiddos the whole time and made their night!We chose a variety of desserts and I know that they will all taste delicious because we have tried some of them before. We also love their bread and donuts too.I love supporting schimdt's every time I'm in the area.

Wonderful service and everybody was taking great baked goods home for the holidays. I came in to get some cultural treats for the grandkids. They were so surprised and loved the new experience.
