This was our second visit to Schnitzel Platz and we were impressed once again. Despite visiting during Covid, the food was amazing. We were eager to return when the restaurant was at full capacity and we were not disappointed. The menu offers a perfect blend of German and American dishes, including hamburgers and Spätzle. The atmosphere was lively, with diners engaged in conversation and enjoying the accordion entertainment provided by a gentleman who interacted perfectly with the customers. The food was mediocre at best. I have to agree with a previous review that mentioned the schnitzel looked like frozen patties and lacked a crispy outside. The spatzel seemed pre-packaged and lacked any originality. After declining dessert, the waitress promptly brought the bill for us to pay. However, just minutes after we paid, she informed us that the hostess wanted us to leave because other patrons were waiting to be seated. This blatant rudeness was uncalled for and unacceptable. The combination of poor customer service and average food quality guarantees that we will not be dining here again.

This hidden gem in an unlikely location is a delightful find. The restaurant's interior is adorned with various authentic German decorations and numerous intriguing clocks that are enjoyable to admire. The cuisine was exceptional, and the servers were supportive in assisting us with our choices. The dishes were incredibly fresh and delicious, making this a must-visit for fans of German cuisine. This is our favorite spot to celebrate Oktoberfest. It is always a fun, lively, and welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious and comforting, with a wide selection of beers to choose from. I recommend that they reconsider their policy of only issuing one check per table or party. We dined in for dinner and the price per person was between $20 and $30. The food, service, and atmosphere were all rated a perfect 5. I highly recommend trying the Potato Pancakes and Wiener Schnitzel.

We had made reservations but upon arrival, we found that all the tables were pushed together, resulting in a crowded and uncomfortable dining experience. Additionally, the hostess displayed a lack of courtesy and was quite rude.

Beer was a little expensive and food could have come faster but it's a good restaurant with reasonably priced, mostly very good food. I've never been to Germany so I can't speak to it's authenticity but I enjoyed myself there.
