I actually love this bar. I am actually within walking distance which was a bonus. The decor is great, the drink specials on par, the servers are awesome but I admit I don't go in as often due to how my mood absolutely deflates when management show up. Not sure of her name but I know she has arrived when when everyone, including the customers at the bar cringe. I sit at a table and actually see people stiffen up! Staff changeover is frequent except for these three regular bartenders who make people feel they are at a house party! It's awesome! I have seen over the last 5 years the digression of this bar and I think they are in a similar boat with me. I now go to another pub....or two as I go...
A friendly atmosphere--sports Bar décor---lots of screens.Service was attentive. On Sunday---half priced wings, very delicious.Happy Hour from noon till 8:00PM.Big Boy burger is a hit! Very comprehensive food menu---great variety.VLT's are available. Free pool tables on Sunday.This establishment has been on location for over 25 years----andmaintains an above average reputation.Our favourite----halibut and chips!Recommended.
This neighbourhood pub is a hub of the community. Great food, prices are a little expensive but the food is tasty. Most Saturdays they have open mic with some great musicians.Sometimes there is a cover charge if there is a boxing match on but of you are interested he neighbourhood it is a good place to stop.
I live within walking distance of Schooners, which is convenient for a quick bite to eat or get together with friends of mine who live in the area. I always feel safe at Schooners whether I'm by myself or with a few of my girlfriends....More

The Schooners Pub is a tradition Pub with a great atmosphere. Pool tables, VLTs, wooden tables & chairs and a long bar are timeless. They have a good selection of Pub food and are known for their wings. The service was quick and friendly.
Had a great lunch at Schooners Pub in the SW We shared a Ruben sandwich as they are to much for one person to eat and it came with fries as well.For a drink we had water with bar lime juice in it my fav as I'm not a drinker of beer etc .
We have visited this pub a few times now, and we love their food and friendly atmosphere. The people that go there is the next door kind of people, no attitude, reasonable prices and excellent appetizers and main dishes.
The honey bacon burger is the best burger I have ever had in Calgary! Definitely recommend !! Service wasn't the greatest but the burger made up for it! Love the atmosphere very fun and always full of people!

Great burgers and regular pub food, pool tables, darts, VLT's, on site parking, in Coach Hill Community.
I love their wings, best in town. I almost tried wings in every pub and Schooners wings are the best.
