Such a large and beautiful garden terrace is rarely found in cities. Easy to reach, cool in the hot summer and beautifully shaded by the old trees. A nice atmosphere in the old rifle house. 3 units: A kind of well-kept beer garden and a very nice, slightly raised terrace. The tables are well spaced, generously spaced, white and elegantly laid out. I found the acoustics due to the distance between the tables to be very pleasant. The interior is spacious and well maintained. We received very friendly and competent service. The food was excellent and the menu varied. 3 courses for us and a “greetings from the kitchen”. Price-performance more than justified. We'll definitely go back.
We used to eat at Schützenhaus quite a lot, since the food there is really tasty. The problem is, that the staff is rather strange sometimes even impudent. They used to make weird, inappropriate jokes and get kinda touchy. This is just unacceptable considering the rather high prices, which is why we won‘t come back.
We received excellent service and ate very well. The prices are reasonable. Unfortunately we couldn't eat in the beautiful garden due to a thunderstorm, but we were immediately and courteously moved inside. In terms of character, it is a home style restaurant or to put it more casually: a club for old, white men.
My wife and I met some friends in this place. I was never here but my friends proposed this restaurant. The food was very good. Not cheap but fair. The service was excellent.
