This was one of the best German restaurants to which my husband and I have since returned from Europe. The Weiner schnitzel was excellent and we recommend you to try the farm potatoes. And save space for the Apple Strudel! We loved the great service, cozy atmosphere, very untypical of German knockouts places. That was very tasteful. Would suggest for a date night or romantic dinner or special lunch. If you've never had German food, that's the place to go. The bar was really cool. The attention to detail was amazing: from the cloth tablecloths to the presentation of the food and dessert no detail was missed. Very recommended
My husband and I are here for our 5 years anniversary and it was such a wonderful way to celebrate! This is such a special place! It has exceeded all my expectations. The food was so phenomenal, especially the pumpkin soup!! The ambience was so beautiful and romantic (Upscale, not your average happy German culinary experience). Our server was wonderful. It was worth every penny! I also recommend the caramel mousses! Yummy! One of the most beautiful places in Greenville, in my opinion!
It was good but not exceptional. My family members enjoyed their meals but I found my jager schnitzel to be exceptionally salty. I understand everywhere is short staffed these days but I would have liked to have my water refilled at least once, especially considering how salty my meal was. I would go back to give it another try in the future.
First experience in a German restaurant only one word, Fantastic! From greetings to waitress, from restaurant to food, from drinks to dessert... it enjoyed every minute at Schwaben House. Sure it's one of my favorite restaurants in town! Btw, I hope you enjoy the wheat beer as much as I, cheers!
