While the menu clearly signals tradition and rusticity, the cooking is precise enough. We went for the selection of mixed appetizers and then, at two opposites end of what the menu has to offer, the vegetarian dish and the very traditional mixed meats, that is saumagen, wurst and klopse with sauerkraut. We were not disappointed. And the service was both friendly and efficient.

first class service, first class sommelier, there was nothing to complain. the kitchen could keep in the first steps, unfortunately no longer from the walks. the accompanied wee were excellent. that dessert in the cocussus had no star level for me too. what I personally do not like is the completely white device, even the chair covers are up to the floor in white.

If you want to try Riesling wines in Pfalz there is no better starting point than Deidesheim and Deidesheimer Hof. We had a very nice late summer dinner outside on the square, perfect service and a good choice of local wines
