What a truly exceptional dining experience this evening, utterly faultless Each course was beautifully presented and the ingredients meticulously explained. The quality of locally sourced, caught and foraged produce was excellent, beautifully balanced and the portion sizing perfect for a tasting menu with multiple courses (this is not your standard three course menu). We thoroughly enjoyed an amazing two hour culinary experience My wife has dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy) and this wasn’t an issue. What an amazingly exceptional restaurant located in remote Scotland! I’ve been to my fair share of Michelin listed restaurants and this rises very high on that list. From the exceptionally perfect service to the beautiful location to the world class tasting menu it hits it out of the park. These dishes don’t just look good, they taste amazing as well and each bite makes you want to try more. They are also VERY accommodating to requests it’s a seafood heavy menu but my dining partner doesn’t eat Seafood and they were willing to swap things around with notice. That just doesn’t happen in most high end tasting menu environments.
Love this place! Visiting friends in Skye, it made for the perfect place to treat them to something special and say thanks for putting us up. Wee intimate setting almost like being in someone's very well kept front room makes for non-stuffy fine dining. Extremely attentive and friendly service without being overly fussy and getting in the way. The food is exceptional packed with flavour, perfect portion sizes, unusual without being pretentious and all locally sourced. And the pricing for all of this feels very very reasonable in comparison to other venues I've visited that are pitching at this level. Absolutely recommend!
An excellent restaurant, possibly Skye's best kept secret. Our host for the evening Will was full of charm and interesting stories on where our selected wines were from. Be sure to draw on his extremely detailed knowledge of whiskies throughout Scotland But the food, the FOOD. Our tasting menu was absolutely divine, featuring seasonal products from across the island and recipes that lean heavily on nose to tail' cuisine. The fish we ate has been caught that morning, the beef reared a stone's throw away. We absolutely loved every bite If you are on Skye, this should be the top option on your restaurant list. Five stars!!!

Lovely dinner at Scorrybreac. Food was excellent and we enjoyed every dish at this place. Very well done. We would return in a heartbeat. The place is also lovely from the inside. Very stylish and certainly a big add on to Portree. It is probably not so easy to get good staff in such a place or especially Isle of Skye and this is the only criticism that we had. The staff needs a bit more training and the service at times felt a little bit stressed, especially in the beginning it seemed quite hectic. Also the wine list could be slightly bigger for a place like this. Overall a very nice experience though. Well done.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel extremely welcome. Each course on the tasting menu was presented beautifully and came with a full description from the very knowledgeable maître d’. Our dinner at Scorrybreac was one of the best we have ever had and hope it won’t be too long before we can come back again.
We had a fantastic meal. Refined and inventive cooking and combinations, but always in a way which lets the great local ingredients shine, nothing over-tweezed. Matched wine flight definitely worthwhile. And a relaxed atmosphere.
Outstanding Restaurant in Potree, food and service were top notch, THE Best restaurant for a great dining experience.
