Night out for a friends birthday.. Big mistake!! we planned a last minute birthday dinner for a friend could not decide what restaurant to go to finally landed on Scotties . It had good reviews pictures of the food looked good . Made a reservation for 6:30 and I think we got our check at 8:30 we left at almost 9 . First off we couldn't order anything for at least 30 min in because there is only one waiter which is also the host and also the bartender . There was only one person working the whole front of house which is ridiculous . We wanted to get up and walk out but didn't want to be rude . I was blown away by the amazing food at this restaurant! I ordered the New York steak with mushrooms and farm fresh vegetables, and it was cooked to perfection. I would give it a 10/10 rating. I started with appetizers, followed by a delicious salad and main course, and finished off with the most incredible crème brûlée I've ever had! The service was also top-notch, with Scotty going above and beyond to make sure our drinks were filled and even making a fantastic lemon drop cocktail. The food and ambiance despite a pandemic was great. Pianist and outdoor dinning made for a great energy. The broth from the mussels was warm and bright. The pomegranate sauce that accompanied my duck confit was EVERYTHING. Sweet, savory, spicy, umami!!! I cant forget to mention the creme brulee cheescake!! Rich and creamy, perfect mix of both desserts. Def coming back. Food ervice was a bit slow, however I attribute that to staffing ..our server was great.. she was friendly and knowledgeable.

Had a great meal with friends. The atmosphere is good but definitely off the beaten path of where you would expect a fine dining experience. The menus is photo copies on plane paper in black and white. Odd. The food is great though. I had a seafood lasagna that had lobster, shrimp and crab. Oh that was good!!! The food was excellent and the server was very informative. Reservations are a must, as there are only 2 staff members due to Covid restrictions. We noticed a couple who were unable to be seated, but hopefully they will be able to return and enjoy a full dining experience soon.

Scotties is the top restaurant in Brentwood. The service was outstanding and the food and wine were incredible. If you're looking to indulge in live music (from a pianist) and a nostalgic atmosphere, along with high-quality food and wine, then this is the place for you.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. While it may not have a lot of curb appeal and is in an unusual location, it is truly a hidden gem. The food is delicious and skillfully made, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the owner, Scottie, offers top-notch service.

eating is excellent. my French woman appreciated it (she is stereotypical pickling with French restaurants). service was great. it's a nice place, but nothing great. will be definitiw back. I would recommend everyone looking for a nice dinner. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is the best restaurant in town! Food is always delicious and Scottie is great host! He runs the restaurant on his own so please be patient when making a reservation. He?s worth the wait.

that was an absolutely delicious dinner. beautiful atmosphere, good music, fantastic eating. so impressed and satisfied. I would recommend to everyone, perfect date night spot.
