Three of us went Friday 15th Jan, expecting to have some nice food, there are two menus, one the Sea Breeze pub style food to eat in the main lounge area of the club which is pub grub & priced accordingly we chose the restaurant menu, BIG mistake! we waited about 40 minutes for the food, I ordered Barramundi with a chive mash type thing, priced at $30, when my food arrived the portion was absolutely tiny & I mean tiny! how they get away with serving such small portions I do not know, this seems to be happening all over sydney , I received a tiny piece of fish which could have been anything , it was more like an old fashioned fish cake! about 10 centimetres across! dropped on top of a bland f...
Awesome view of Coogee beach from the dining terrace. The $90 seafood platter is what I order. If you are looking for somewhere to grab a nice meal, reasonably priced drinks and a good atmosphere to sit and talk with friends over nice meal with a view I suggest you give this establishment a try. This venue is quite easy to walk straight past as I’m sure many people do, it is primarily occupying the first floor with excellent views over Coogee beach from the dining terrace. This is a returned service personnel club and follows similar etiquette to your local RSL. Drinks are well priced, food is excellent and a well kept local secret. This is the first time that we have been to the Club since the restaurant has had new management. The special lunch menu of $29.50 plus a glass of wine/beer/soft drink was excellent value. The menu had variety with good servings. We had an entrée & a main. The meals came in a timely manner, well presented and were very tasty. Staff knew the menu and were friendly. The drinks are at club prices. We sat outside which is enclosed and had a great view of Coogee Beach. Bookings can be made. There is time parking in surrounding streets with a bus stop for city buses outside the club.
I absolutely love Coogee Legion Club in Sydney for a variety of reasons. The establishment is cozy and intimate, offers great prices, serves delicious food, and has a welcoming atmosphere. I have tried a variety of dishes there including seafood, pizza, cake, and steak, all of which have been excellent. I highly recommend this spot for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. They also offer great options for kids' meals.

This restaurant is charming, although I was expecting to see more of its history as a Veteran establishment. The steak I had was delicious and it's clear the chef is skilled. They do require proof of 2x covid vaccinations for entry, which was a first for us at a restaurant. However, it's their choice to implement this policy.
At a set menu evening dinner party the staff and chef went out of their way to satisfy the requirements of vegan and gluten free guests. The food was excellent service great and the drinks listing from the bar covers just about all tastes. The Coopers bottled beers (no preservatives) were excellent too.
I enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day lunch and entertainment at the Legion Club yesterday. . It was a great menu and service was excellent as was the entertainment after lunch. James and Pani never disappoint!! Thank you for a memorable Mothers day and one I won’t forget.
A local club that obviously cares about making their members happy than squeezing every dollar out of the tourists. Reasonably priced (but not cheap) food and good selection of wines and beer. Non-club members are welcome. Veal Schnitzel was a standout and recommended.

Exceptional quality. This place needs more attention. I had the best bbq seafood platter in my life here. I literally didn't even realise seafood could be so good. Also, great staff, great beers and a comfortable atmosphere. If you're in Coogee check it out.
The outside dining area offers a fantastic view on a sunny day. The food at the bistro/restaurant is impressive and the staff are excellent.
