Sea Dog Cantina Gulfport

This is the second or perhaps third time we've come to Sea Dog cantina and I feel like we order just right each time. Pros: Good food vegan/vegetarian options: Not sure if these are new, but never realized they offered beyond meat dishes. Huge plus. We ordered meatless nachos, the Cesar street corn salad, and the beyond meat tacos. We really like the nachos here and have ordered them every time. The salad was also very good and offered a flavor combination that we've not had before and we appreciate that. The beyond meat tacos were also very good. We give a 5 star review just for offering beyond meat; usually the wife has to eat bean tacos! I also got a giant margarita, pictured. Quite tasty...

Taco Tuesdays are a must! These tacos are the best in town, overflowing with meat and topped with unique, delicious ingredients. Everyone in the restaurant was incredibly friendly, from the welcoming hostess at the front to our server, Sweet-T, who took great care of us. The back area is spacious and features large picture windows that offer a beautiful view of the surrounding garden.

Sea Dog's restaurant in Treasure Island is great. They should stay with that concept. They are not a Mexican restaurant. Terrible margaritas. I'm pretty sure there was no shrimp in the shrimp ceviche. Tasted like fish although my waitress said she watched them cut all the shrimp. What waitress has time to do that ‍

Our go-to spot in Gulfport! Love the chicharrones and ceviche, their beer selection is on point and the staff is great! Our waitress always knows us and what we want, very pleased. The atmosphere inside and out is so Gulfport. Tip them good people! Try out the chicharrones and Shipyard Blood Orange Wheat Ale Reserva una mesa ahora

We were seated right away at a great table outside. Service staff very nice and polite as usual. Everything was a little slower that it had been in the past but it is no great mystery and I won't dock the people that have the courage to show up for work. We will be back for sure!!

I visited for lunch and the food was fantastic! Our bartender, Beth, was incredible! These are possibly the best margaritas I've had in a very long time! I think I've found my new go-to spot for Sunday afternoons!

The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food and drinks were delicious. The service was prompt and friendly. She even went above and beyond to provide us with coffee and water to take away.

Closed it was a great place but gone and replaced with a very pricey Mexican Restaurant
