Three of us visited the restaurant. Didn’t have any fish pie at £7.70. Had large fish, chips and peas instead. So cost nearly £18 including a cup of tea. None of us could understand the prices from the man serving us…despite us trying to follow the menu. It was difficult to understand how the fish, chip and peas price was worked out…because of the servers explanation. We all got frustrated and confused, including the man serving us. Then confusion about whether one of us had ordered a cup of tea because there were no receipts issued and the server appeared disgruntled when we asked for our teas. Being local we 've been to eat here before, the food was freshly prepared, and the service good... what went wrong.. ? Monday lunchtime called in, which is quiet with holiday makers. Only 2 other families and one lady on her own, I Ordered fish,chips,peas and veggie burger and chips... after a good while, they arrived in a polystyrene takeaway container along with 2 horrible coffee 's in disposable cups. The bill was just short of £25. They gave us a Chicken burger... so back it went... 10 minutes later it arrived, by which time the other meal was goung cold.. I said It is a veggie burger? The young guy just threw it on the table and gruffly said yeah ... no sorry you 've had to wait, nothin...
We came here after a dreadful experience at another 'restaurant ' (I 'd call it a circus) after waiting over an hour to be seated our diabetic mum began to feel really unwell we decided we wouldn 't stay and left to go to the nearest restaurant which happened to be 'the sea ' we told the guy behind the till of our ordeal and he immediately asked if mum wanted something quick to nibble on while we looked at the menu! She was given a glass of water and the staff were delightful! I can 't rate this restaurant highly enough! More than that the food was beautiful!!! I couldn 't eat all of mine it was delicious! An absolutely excellent restaurant we will be returning! Sorry for our mum 's mobility...
The meal we had we just so My friend had home made meat and potato pie , chips, and gravy I had batters jumbo sausage chips and gravy The pie wasn't home made , like it said on the bill board My sausage was not like I have in the past frm other places , the sausage was generic no taste or flavour The lady who was on duty was nice and friendly and helpful she is given 4 stars , the food 2 stars I went to the toilet was clean and even a notice saying that the toilet will b checked every hour

Only went here because papas was closed for some reason on a Saturday afternoon!! Went for the large cod and chips and when it arrived it looked ok but little suspicious because fish came in 2 separate pieces!! Top piece was lovely nice white fish big flakes nice batter !! But sat underneath was completely the opposite horrible grey coloured fish in soggy batter and tasted funny must have been frozen not nice at all very overpriced for one nice piece of fish and the other horrible
Went in for lunch we all thoroughly enjoyed the fish chips, pie chips fish burger we ordered. Great portion sizes and came in a decent time Staff very friendly and checked in on our meal after we were eating And being a stickler for toilets in restaurants…..very pleasingly lovely clean toilets where everything worked perfectly Would absolutely recommend a visit
Absolutely delicious! Visited on a blustery Tuesday and was greeted by a lovely lady. Food was cooked fresh while we waited and very reasonably priced. The food was tasty and dry not at all greasy like you sometimes get with freshly cooked fish and chips. Would happily come back next time we visit.
Best fish chips in Blackpool, and we've been to a few since living nr blackpool for the last 2 years. Definitely won't be disappointed. Service good and portions generous. Visited 11 November 23. Church St opposite Vintro Lounge.

Massive portions, cooked to perfection. Very tasty, batter on the cod was perfect. The look of the restaurant was really neat and trendy. Great place all round, would deffo recommend
