Came in with my friends, having been told how good the yum cha experience is only to receive the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in my life. I hate leaving a bad review but I need to be truthful. We walked into the restaurant...which had a very depressing atmosphere, very dark and no mood music (not even instrumental). Upon sitting down, the waitress came up to the table with a cart that was not even half full then tried to push some of the most expensive items on their specials list. When we asked for a menu the staff ignored us, which lead us to believe that there wasn’t a menu. Following that the waitress proceeded to speak in Chinese to our only Chinese speaking friend, who is intr...

wow! the dimming sum here is simply excellent! everything we have ordered for our table of six, drew unanimous approval and accuse. the fresh of each item is undisputed and paleable. the garnels in the castors and har gou are springy and sweet. The... movement for the egg and durian rollers are wonderfully light and liquid. the char siu baos are so soft and fluffy. the chicken feet are tenderly and deliciously emptied for perfection. also the reiskong is shimmered to silky smooth. service is sister, but charming, especially with the push carbox ladies try to keep them warm with their delicatessen on huge moving steamer. it loud and rough, but so much part of the culture of “yumcha”!

Nice venue and easy to get to. Quite large inside. Wide range of dishes. Food was good but not amazing However the main problem is one particular waiter (a shorter, chubbier gent dressed in black probably in his 50s) who was extremely rude and...screaming profanity at the poor waitresses in front of diners. This continued for the entire hour we were there. He literally spoke to them as if they were slaves and sub human. We hear stories in the news of staff mistreatment at asian restaurants and it certainly seems to be the case here at least with this particular gentleman. Really put a downer on what was otherwise a reasonable restaurant.

Bookings highly recommended!! We booked and still lined up with at least another 30 people on opening. We are no strangers to YumCha, and it’s been hard to find a good one since moving to Melbourne 5 years ago. Secret kitchen was recommended to us...as the best in Melbourne, and so far; we agree The food is amazing and the staff friendly It’s true to say that if an Oriental restaurant is filled with Orientals; then it must be good. Well, us Aussies are surrounded by beautiful Chinese families. Highly recommended 10/10 We would definitely return. Reserva una mesa ahora

beautiful staff made our lunch the most pleasant. the food quality was excellent, although my roasted beef was served at room temperature. shout to christine and shirley, who were amazing that our mother allergies family were able to eat without worrying. I eat gluten-free and. they were most helpful with gluten-free choices. highly recommended!

my family had a date enjoyable yum cha brunch in secret kitchen. they have a large selection of dimming sums (all from a high standard), Trolley service is fast. the time for our 10:30 o'clock first session was about 1 hour 15 minutes. what was enough. the prices are reasonable where we paid $320 for the family of 10.

The whole fish steamed with soy and spring onions and chillies (lots) was superb and beautifully presented and served. Suckling pig and some dumplings all good too. Friendly and helpful service. Reasonable prices for the quality
