We stayed 1 night on April 12. They were under construction and stated they upgraded us to a bigger room which was untrue as we booked the room we were given. Despite us commenting on arrival the disappointment of seeing all the scaffolding, the room they gave us with a terrace had on side of our view blocked by the said scaffolding. After going to the front desk and asking for another room without the construction they moved us to the opposite side of the hotel with the same features as ours. Visited Hallstatt and wanted to have a beer somewhere. Found this beautiful place and we were blown away with the service. Our server was Matej and he was simply wonderful, all of his colleagues were so friendly. We also tried the cakes and they were incredible. We've never had ice cream cake before and it was such an experience. The view of the lake was perfect and we felt so welcomed. Best customer service we've had in a long time
Rooms old fashioned and a bit hot but more than make up for it by the view (Lakeview is worth it) Service at the restaurant is professional and top quality food and ingredients. Would definitely come back here.
Otelde kalmadik, terasinda yemek yedik. Göl manzarasi muhtesem, bölgenin en guzel manzarasi esliginde sakin huzurlu yemek yiyorsunuz. Yemekler siradan, hizmet iyi. Lokal bira ictik, cok begendim.

Hatten großes Glück und ergatterten an einem schönen Tag obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, zu dritt einen Tisch. Tja, und am Ufer des Hallstädter See haben wir natürlich Fisch gegessen
Wir haben im Restaurant zu Mittag gegessen. Das Schnitzel war ganz gut. Aber die Kärtner Kasnudel sind eine kleine Vorspeise und keine Haupmahlzeit. 4Stk. sind da keine 20€ wert.
Only stopped in to have a drink on the lake. The wild berry Lillet was one of the best drinks I have ever had and the service was very good here. Went again the next day!
The staff are incredibly grumpy. Nobody smiles. The food is average but expensive. I wouldn't go there if I didn't have to.
