Seguin Fish and Chips

A delicious, authentic Indian restaurant hidden in a plain and straightforward fish ‘n’ chip shop… today i had the fish curry with basmati and naan and it was divinely fresh, complex and satisfying. The service from longtime hostess Cathy was thoughtful and excellent. I learned her name because so many regulars came in and addressed her by name (she knew their names too! . Allow a little time for the good food to be made and enjoy this unexpectedly cosmopolitan cuisine in the small town of Parry Sound, Ontario. I live nearby so I plan to come regularly.

We ordered the Haddock, which came with a large piece served with fries. Both the fish and fries were piping hot and delicious. The only thing that could have made it better would be if they served homemade tartar sauce instead of packaged. Overall, the food was of great quality and at a decent price. I would recommend this restaurant. The next time I pass through Parry Sound, I will definitely stop in again, maybe to try one of their curries. Food rating: 4/5.

There isn't much positive to say about this restaurant. They were short-staffed, with only one person taking orders and cooking, leading to a 30-minute wait for our food. We ordered a family pack of halibut and chips, but one of the pieces of fish appeared to have been recooked. The chips were mediocre and lacking in flavor, and the coleslaw was also bland with no seasoning.

My lunch experience at this restaurant was not great. I ordered the haddock and chips, which I would rate a 5 out of 10. The serving and presentation of the poutine was very poor, as it was served on paper that ripped and I unknowingly ate some of it. I would recommend avoiding this dish if possible. We ordered haddock and chips. Chips were just plain fried, no salt or anything. Salt was not available on the serving bowl either.They served only three sachet of tartar sauce which was not good enough for two people given that food wasn't seasoned enough.

No reusable plates were available. To avoid wasting I guess. Only plastic containers were provided. As a green and nature lover this is adding to the plastic pollution. Fish curry barely had any fish not value for money.Food: 4/5

Fish and chips were really good. Best ive had and comparable to fish and chips from down east (new brunswick) Would have gave it 5 stars if there wasn't a mix up with our order.Still the best in town.

The worst food, poor hygiene, we tried to indian dish and it is absolutely horrible, the spring rolls were still frozen from inside. The food doesnt worth a cent. The lady at the front is super rude. Reserva una mesa ahora

Used to be better. Selling sea perch as pickeral. Dirty. Disappointing. Picture is supposed to be pickeral (walleye) and the skin was left on.Food: 1/5
