Since I moved to the Boston area in June, Semolina Kitchen has been my favorite pizza spot. Located right in the heart of the Tufts campus in Medford, they offer excellent takeout and delivery options—perfect for when you want to skip the busy atmosphere and enjoy pizza on the couch after a long day. Their pizzas are personal-sized, so when I visit with a friend, we usually order two. My absolute favorites from their menu are the vodka pizza, followed closely by the meatball and onion. Semolina Kitchen’s chicken wings are also fantastic, and although I haven’t tried their pasta yet, I’ve heard amazing things and definitely plan to. Semolina Kitchen is a delightful spot that's perfect for a romantic evening or a friendly catch-up. The staff members are exceptionally warm and attentive. The menu offers a wide variety of drinks, providing numerous choices for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the selection of shareable appetizers. My friend and I each tried pasta dishes (I chose the Cacio e Pepe with chicken), and we also shared the Calamari Cheesy Basket. The portions are quite generous!
Typically, when selecting a restaurant for dinner, I prioritize either exceptional food or cocktails, but Semolina Kitchen offers both! We absolutely love their pizzas, pasta, and burgers. The cocktails are fantastic, and they'll even whip up our favorite off-menu drinks. We prefer sitting at the bar and often try to snag a spot, but it's usually busy, so making a reservation is wise. And I must mention, their brownie sundae is amazing!
Years ago we fell in love with Dave’s fresh pasta. Then we moved out of Davis Square and semolina‘s came in not too far away from us. Whenever we have a chance to get there we go. Are usually try to get a pasta place but the sandwiches are good to. AndI always like sitting belly up at the bar for a good experience. Outdoor seating is high demand, so plan accordingly

High quality, flavorful dishes that is set amongst a romantic topiary dining area. Lots of natural light to help keep it feeling open and bright ! The staff here are quick with refills and everyone I interacted with was wonderful! An amazing Caesar saladthat I paired with an incredible tuna salad! Highly recommend this hidden gem!
Really fantastic Italian food right near Tufts campus. Pizzas are a bit heavy but flavor is good and to each their own. Salads and appetizers are great as well. Restaurant is a little dark and hard to hear in, which contributes to a romantic ? atmosphere but can also be annoying.
4.5 stars; great pasta (Dave’s) with spicy sauce and meatballs….which went great with the spinach, ricotta and garlic pizza. Pizza had great crust, not as flavorful as it looked but still excellent. Pleasant vibe, and a short walk from new green line T stop.
