Food 12/10 Service 9/10 Portions 7/10 (non American portions smaller) The owners are very friendly and simply wonderful people. The food is all fresh and we watched them make our drinks. It was simply an amazing experience. We visited this restaurant just before the pandemic hit and again yesterday. There were some obvious, noticeable chances. Sadly the help yourself salsa bar was not on display, for understandable reasons, but this did NOT impact the quality of the food. And the owners were quite happy to make outstanding salsa recommendations. If you're going to be in the area, this place is a gem that you should make some time to visit for a great lunch!
After a long bike ride, I decided to try this restaurant. When I approached the open window to view the menu, a staff member was standing there. I asked if I could place an order, but she rudely pointed and told me to go inside instead. I found a table outside, only to discover that drinks could only be ordered from the gazebo, where the owner was having a meeting at 12:15 PM on a Friday. After waiting about 30 minutes for our appetizer, I chose to settle my bill and leave. The owner gave off a strange vibe, as if they didn’t want us there, and the place seemed severely understaffed. I had to get my own water, menus, and cutlery. I won’t be returning!
Due to Covid, you order at the window and seat yourself outside, but luckily, they have a ton of shady spots to plant yourself while you enjoy delicious tacos. Everything is cooked up fresh and tasty. I felt like the portions and prices were on par with other taco joints. The customer service was fantastic and helpful. Bonus, if you're here on a Wednesday, there's a sweet farmers market up the street you can walk to after you have your tummy full of goodness! This place is pretty small and could easily be missed, but look for those outdoor tables and you'll find it!
Biggest rip off for tacos in my life seriously! Tacos were good but for literally two bite tacos with nothing but meat on them and not much at that I would have expected them to be a whole lot better. $8 for the two smallest tacos I've seen in my life and $1 for a jalapeño. 100 percent will not be going back. Also, says $8 for a taco combo. I'm not sure what the combo is, hot sauce to go with the tacos? Ridiculousness

This is the place I dream of when I think about tacos or Carbondale. We had a custom taco sampler and the very best service. The lady owner welcomed us into her kitchen made a world class meal just for us. Think perfect tacos, ice cold Mexican coke all in a hole in the wall location. It was an amazing find!
The online menu is not up-to-date, and they don’t provide prices for the drinks. I would have preferred a bit more spice and flavor in the meat. Otherwise, the tacos were fantastic. I had to request extra salt and seasoning, and I’m just a gringo!
This is real food. Absolutely amazing home style food with great ingredients. As a chef I am very impressed and will be back many times. Owner is very gracious and passionate about his food and drinks. Love this place please go Here!!!!!
This restaurant is a fantastic find for some delicious mountain-style Mexican cuisine. While it's not the cheapest option, my family loves it!

Wow this place is amazing! Great margarita and the tacos are all unique and delicious. We loved the decor, music, service all around A+!!
