I support the independent restaurant as much as possible and have been here to this Sergio 's quite a few times. Sergio 's food is decent. It 's not outstanding but it 's good overall. From the outside, it looks like a small hole-in-the-wall with a tiny entrance, but there's actually plenty of seating inside, plus a couple of patio tables outside. While the decor and seating could use some TLC, the delicious food and friendly service more than make up for it.

Easy to find on a Friday during dinner time. Wait Time: No wait for a party of 2 with a completely full restaurant. Bar seating also available. Greeted and seated immediately by owner. Very friendly staff, family oriented and speedy service. Clean bathrooms. Enchilada and Shredded Beef Taco combo plate was good, frijoles were creamy and delicious but the rice could use a little more flavor. Taquito combo plate came with rice, beans and a side of guacamole. Taquitos were decent, guacamole was made perfectly, just added a little bit of salt. On a scale 0-10 with 10 being the best, I'd give this place a 6.
We were in the mood for ceviche, so we decided to check out Sergio's restaurant. Upon entering, we were told to sit anywhere we liked. We noticed a separate room adorned with various Mexican icons, alongside some non-Mexican decor. They seemed busy, as a long table was still cluttered with dirty plates and cups, along with tips left behind. Unfortunately, they were out of ceviche. However, we decided to stay and ordered the fish taco plate, which was decent. We'll have to try the ceviche another time.

Ordered steak picado plate. Loved the homemade tortillas, the steak was chopped small the beans were good. The picado however was sweet with red onion and stewed tomatoes. Yuck. My husband ordered the street tacos and gave the carne asada tacos a thumbs up. Oddly though, they had no chile... Not even a bottle of Tapatio anywhere. The waiter said because it's Sunday. If we come back, it'll just be for the street tacos in a day other than Sunday!
I absolutely love Sergio's! The food is always excellent, and the service is even better. The staff, from the servers to the chefs, are incredibly kind and accommodating. There's usually plenty of seating, and the atmosphere is pleasant. I highly recommend Sergio's as a charming Mexican sit-down restaurant. Great food and great people—what's not to love?
VEGAN Review Didn't eat here but 5 stars for customer service. I called to ask what was in their veggie burrito: pico de gallo, rice, beans, and cheese. They cook their rice with chicken broth and their beans contain lard so unfortunately there are no vegan options here.
We've always been happy with each dish here. I love their options for grilled veggies and whole beans as sides. Their mole is incredible, we've order trays for parties and just for take-out dinner. Yum!!

Shrimp cocktails were really good! Price of $12 for a large, good flavor, large shrimp and avocado. Will come back. 4 stars because they are short staffed and it takes a while to get your food and check.
Great restaurant. Hard working staff pumps out some delicious food. My favorite is their red enchilada sauce. Highly recommend this place over any corporate restaurant. Thanks for the great food guys.
