Serrano's Mexican Cantina was somewhat of a surprise considering it is located in the heart of Beenleigh - not somewhere exactly known for fabulous cuisine...This restaurant is a bit of a hidden gem as unless a local introduces you to it, you would never know it was there or how good it is. Tip - always book ahead. This restaurant is so popular you will be very lucky to get in without a booking.Meals are cooked to order so don't expect to receive your meal in 5 minutes. Well worth a short wait though. The quality of the meals are excellent - and I am not easily pleased! Came across this place on a Friday night and even though fully booked they offered us a table outside. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and attentive. We were quickly served drinks and the most delicious spicy cheese dip with nachos while we waited for our main meal. Even though the restaurant was very busy and we had been squeezed in last minute the owner still came to our table and took the time to explain all the different meal options. The food didn't disappoint, it was very tasty, large servings and well priced. Will definately make a return visit.
Attended Serranos last night with my wife. It was very busy especially for a Sunday and the staff/owners did not handle this well. It took quite a long time for us to get our drinks and even longer when we tried to get any of the wait staff to take our order for another round of drinks.The food however was fantastic as it always is at Serranos. The vibe in the restaurant is great.

First time I have been here and I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The food was excellent with everyone enjoying their choices. There are options for diners who are dairy and gluten intolerant which was great. The jugs of sangria went down a treat and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. A great night out. We will certainly come back again.
We have frequented this restaurant many times over the years, hoping it will return to its former standards. No, not yet. The food can be fabulous, but not often. Service is not great. We keep giving them the benefit of the doubt, and trying to support local business, but it will a while till we try again.
As a regular customer we just cant get enough of the food (Nachos most definitely) not only with the food being so great the layout and the atmosphere doesn't leave you feel crammed and squished. with exceptional service and waiting times you just cant fault this place.
Serranos mexican restaurant is a beenleigh icon. Been there for 25 plus yrs if i remember correctly. The food is solid and large servings sizes. Friendly serving staff. Best mexican you will get round these ways. Quite affordable pricing too.

I have been here every time I come to Australia to visit friends that live around this area, never been disappointed by the service or the food, my favorite dish are jalapeño poppers and fajitas, If you are around it's worth a visit
I often dine here with my daughters and have never been disappointed. Ths service is always impeccable. The food is beyond delicious. The prices are very reasonable. It's a great relaxing place to eat.
