We had never tried this restaurant for dinner but as we were craving a Ruby we decided to give it a try , without much expectation. The restaurant itself is small without any frills but the staff were friendly and efficient. Our garlic curry hot was excellent, better than many of our local curry houses and came as a real surprise as I was expecting something akin to those Vesta curries that we used to have in the 60s. Side dishes and Peshwari Nan were also excellent. So if you are in need of an authentic BIR curry ,you should head here without reservation though you could make a reservation of course !
First time visiting Cala Galdana. Came across this restaurant by chance (next door to the apartments we were staying at). Visited a couple of times and all the visits were enjoyable, tasty plus service was excellent. Would recommend to anyone passing by and would defiantly come on our next visit. Many thanks to the two evening waiters who served us who were extremely polite and friendly. Great job lads!
Below average (gave 3 stars as service was good) spaghetti bolognese small portion and pretty awful, the meat sauce was most definitely out of a tin, very expensive patatas bravas, sauce was ok, white wine was nasty and the bier was watered down a lot. First night and already a lesson learned!! I will say though the Indian menu seemed popular and fid smell nice
We ate here twice during our week in Cala galdana. As a family of four vegetarians we knew it would be difficult finding something to eat. However the Indian menu had an excellent choice which my daughter loved, better than the Indian restaurants at home! Also the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Please ignore a previous poor review.
Después de leer reseñas, fuimos a probar curry en nuestra primera noche en Cala Galdana, parte de él estaba delicioso (pollo tandoori, langostinos tandoori, jhalfrezi), parte estaba bien (naan, bhajis, trozos de cordero y pollo tandoori) y solo un elemento no fue bueno ¡poppadoms blandos! El servicio fue bueno y los precios razonables.
Nos reunimos con este restaurante por casualidad porque fue uno de los primeros en abrir así puertas en la cala de galadan. Estábamos desayunando muy bien, a buen precio y con personal muy correcto. si comen lo mismo que en los desayunos, es una buena opción para reponer a todos los viajeros en las fuerzas de la cala galenasaludo.
