"A few friends and I met at Shake Shack in Chestnut Hill to try their new chicken sandwich. The "Kick'n-Hack" ($6.95) features 100% all-natural cage-free chicken served on a non-GMO bun. It is topped with salad, pickles, and a buttermilk crumbled mayo. I'm not a fan of mayo, so I opted to skip that part - and to my surprise, the sandwich was delicious without it! The chicken was well seasoned with black pepper and had the perfect texture, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Pairing the sandwich with fries and a lemonade (or a shake) makes for the perfect meal."

When Shake Shack opened in Chestnut Hill in early 2013, there was a long line to get in and I didn't want to wait for a fast food burger. Fast forward to now, there was no line so I decided to see what all the fuss was about. I ordered the Shack Burger, which was a cheeseburger with tomato, lettuce, and Shack sauce for $5.29. It was served in a small paper bag and presented nicely. I liked that the bun was not sliced all the way through, making it easier to keep the toppings in place. The bun was sweet, but the patty was thin and well-cooked, although a bit dry. I found that the taste of the burger was overwhelmed by the melted cheese and sauce.
