Shaking Bowl - Reserva de mesa

Was in South County and wanted to try something different. Saw that the Shaking Bowl was rated 4.9 on Google Maps and confirmed it. One of us got B 1, the Bulgogi Bowl (marinated beef), and the other got B 3, the Jaeyook Bowl (spicy sliced pork). Order at the counter. Fast service. Service to the table. Portions were of acceptable size. I would say that the pork was a medium spicy, perhaps 2 or 2 1/2 on a scale of 1 to 5. Bus your own table. Lots of parking available. As others have said, the dark windows make it look closed look for the neon OPEN sign or try the door. Canned drinks available as well as fountain Pepsi products. Try it if you like, or want to try, Korean or Japanese.

I have never been one for Korean food, and was very impressed. This place is very good and has generous portions. I had the salmon teriyaki in noodles. They have a lot of food choices here and ways to personalize your meal. For drinks, the ice is in a separate machine on the side. And I'm not sure if it's always, but they brought our table several baskets of cut watermelon. I found that very nice with the meal.

The best part about this place is how good the food is, I mean amazing food! The owners and their family are always there working hard and the woman who takes my order every time I go in there is so extremely nice. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. It’s hard to find a place with service and food this good without spending 50+ per person at a sit down spot.

A nice little surprise. Friendly and fast service of tasty and fresh food. I got the B3 spicy pork which was great and came with a large portion of rice and vegetables. Based on this experience, I’d try the other menu items for sure. Like others have said, the place is in a strip mall and looks closed but try the door during lunch or dinner times. We were in the area and looking for a local place to try for dinner. We saw the fantastic reviews for this place and wanted to try it. We're so glad we did this is a hidden gem! The food was excellent. We wish we had something like this in St. Peters.

Good little local find! We tried the pork and beef bowls, wings, fried cheese thing, and rangoons, the amount of meat on the bowls is great, the wings are fried perfectly and the owner was very nice. I went twice in a week, new great spot for me!

The food was excellent, I ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken. It was $12.99 if that would have been in the city it would have been an easy $25.00 dollar plate of food. It looks to be a family owned business. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food is great. You will get all nutrients in one bowl (rice, vegetables, protein). After the covid the price goes up, so it causes us to eating less there now.

Shaking Bowl is one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at. The food is fresh and delicious! They also make it very quick. Would recommend to anyone!
