Shannon's Irish Pub

Shannon is like Ireland without a 10 hour flight. Cosy Irish pub for 20 years in downtown Glen Ellyn. The homemade maize beef and chips are Fabuloucity. Our server Ashley was funny and her smile set the tone for a great afternoon/night. Add a Guinness and you have the recipe for Irish dishes. The menu is as extraordinary as the hand poured liberations.

We wanted Shannon to sit in the sun! We did! What a fun experience. Ben was a great server. Had the Snaggle Tooth IPA ON HIS proposal and loved it! Breakfast Burger and Blt Sandwich were for dying! Perfect afternoon!

Great food, wonderful meat (the owner has its own butcher shop), cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Boru's Chopped Salad is my Fave. And you must have the chocolate mousse cake.

Visited from out of town due to a recommendation. The owner and staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful accommodating our crowd. Food was terrific and left full and happy!
