Shanthi - Reserva de mesa

Had a fantastic meal in Shanthi tonight. Husband, daughter and I shared 3 mains. Slighter smaller portions than we would expect back in Northern Ireland but definitely sufficient. Wine was the cheapest I have seen in Switzerland- CHF14 for 500ml - and good enough for my palate! I would definitely recommend this restaurant in the old town (some beautiful buildings in Unterseen too). The service was the best we have had during our stay in Interlaken. Give it a go - you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I came here for a curry, since we had read the reviews.Both starters were okay, but nothing special. After that we both had the biryani, he had chicken and I had vegetable. It was really good, nicely spiced and lots of different vegetables. The raita it came with was also really good. The prices were good as well, slightly cheaper than what you normally pay for a curry in Switzerland.We both liked the decoration as well, nice and colourful.

We visited this restaurant with very high expectations but were very very disappointed. We ordered Dosa's being ardent south indian cuisine fans and it was inedible. Right from the dosas to the chutneys nothing was upto the mark. Maybe it was a one off day or we were unlucky. We had had such great South Indian in London just a week before eating here so we knew its possible to find authentic indian food everywhere.

Just finished and absolutely delicious meal in Ahsanti that is yards from our hotel but I would have walked miles for. Such delicious flavours and a well spiced kick that I rarely experience in India foods at home albeit this is Sri Lanka food. But this is delicious food you won't experience often and my only mild complaint is portions need to be slightly bigger but it is too good to miss. Yum. Reserva una mesa ahora

Wir haben schon sehr viele Indische Restaurant's in Interlaken besucht. Aber keines war so wie das Shanti! Personal sehr freundlich, das Essen war mega fein!! Die Reservation wurde schriftlich zurück bestätigt. Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.MFG Hr. Zürcher

Das Shanti liegt versteckt und ruhig in Unterseen. Das Lokal ist eher kühl eingerichtet. Das Personal hingegen sehr freundlich. Das Essen finde ich nichts besonderes mit nicht besonders viel Geschmack. Es gibt sicher bessere indische Restaurants, allerdings nicht in Interlaken.

Good food with very good service by the Sri Lankan Manager. You will find a good car park also nearby. If you love for Sri Lankan or South Indian menus, a place not to be missed.

Very good Indian food. Food was served quickly, and both starters and main dishes were fine. Having said that, the dishes were small.

We recommend the curry here, nice selection of food although the location isn't ideal. Worth finding!
