I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered shawarma with fries, which were a bit too salty. The lentil rice was decent, and the chicken was okay, but the garlic sauce, as others have mentioned, was essentially just mayonnaise with almost no garlic flavor. It was really a letdown; a good garlic sauce can really enhance the flavor of the meal. Overall, the food was just okay. Given that Windsor has excellent Middle Eastern restaurants practically everywhere, I would recommend heading down the road to Miss Shawarma Plus, which I highly recommend, or Shawarma Palace on Ouellette. They definitely offer better Middle Eastern cuisine than this place.
A chicken shawarma combowith potatoes and spicy garlic from Shawarma hot spot is something I absolutely will go out of my way to have when I'm in town.The late night hours allowed me to grab a meal after a concert at caesars and let me tell you it hit the spot!It's worth dining in if you have the time.The staff are friendly and help you out with the ordering process.10/10 recommended and I will definitely be back as often as possible
best shawarma, time. seriously the best shawarma I've ever had. I live in Texas and every year I come to windsor to visit family and am sure to stop here. that's better than anything I had in the Usa, Canada and the Near East. the ingredients are fresh, huh has tons tasted and roasted brot is unbeatable. the owner is very friendly and has been here for 22 years.
My friend and I decided to stop by this place for a quick meal after a long day at work, and it was our first time there. We ordered chicken shawarmas, and while they were tasty, the experience took a turn the next day. My friend ended up with severe diarrhea, and I had blood in my urine. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, I wouldn't recommend it.

I ordered a chicken bowl and a chicken wrap for the first time. The chicken bowl came with half fries and half rice, but the rice tasted old, as if it had been sitting around for a day or two. It was difficult to chew, so I had to throw the whole bowl away. It felt like a waste of money, and I do not recommend this place.
this is one of the best shawarma places in windsor for years. but the taste and experience depends on who work?s. if the owner works, the taste is always great, otherwise can guarantee the consistency. best they tell them exactly what they want to ensure that their experience is always the same.
Pros. Best shawarma place in windsor. Large portions Amazing garlic sauce . Friendly services. Cons . Interior is dated and could use an update, however it doesn't effect the food. It took me forever to find the best Shawarma in town. Now I'm obsessed.
It took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive, but it was one of the best meals I've ever had. It was filling and absolutely delicious!
