Shelby's Chipwagon

Went to Shelby's Chipwagon for the first time today and the fries did not disappoint. Very crispy and hot and fresh. they are pretty busy and be prepared to stand outside the chip wagon while they get your order ready. Standing outside is ok for summer, buy I can imagine , it may be difficult to stand in the fall or when it gets cooler. If i remember correctly, its a CASH only business, so have it ready. I will try again next time in Gravenhurst.

We decided to stop here for lunch after reading the positive reviews. We ordered way too much food: sausages, poutine, onion rings, plus fries and more fries. They warned us we were ordering too many fries, but we didn't listen! We did our best to eat all of the delicious food at the picnic tables nearby. The owners were super nice and fun to talk to. Our dog, Shelby, was with us and also enjoyed some fries.

We started eating there once a week this summer and it is great. Portions are big but priced modestly. 2 adults can be filled with Kiddie Fires . Fries are fresh-cut and well done. No grease from hamburger which means they are using lean ground beef. Ordered onion rings today and they are huge and very tasty. Staff is very friendly and service is great. Highly recommend.

Discovered Shelby 's in June and have been back a few times. Love that the gravy is vegetarian vegan friendly and therefore the poutine are vegetarian. No compromises. Large portions of fresh cut, perfectly cooked fries with real cheese curds. A small order is more than what most normal humans can eat. When in Muskoka, I highly recommend a stop at Shelby 's

Today I ordered a Miss Jones Burger from Shelby's. I was blown away by the size of it. The flavors, seasonings, and toppings where the right amount. not messy just tasty. I recommend anyone looking for a great burger to Stop by shelbys you will not be disappointed.
