While well reviewed on yelp and one of the top places for Korean BBQ in the San Fernando Valley according to some Redditors, the meat looked much better than it tasted. We've been going to this restaurant for years. I'm not sure if it has had the same ownership the whole time. The food has always been consistent. The most difficult thing is communicating with the staff if you don't know Korean. I am making an assumption that they are Korean. We always get the same two items. Bulgogi and Spicy pork. We usually do the BBQ. This last visit, we went during lunch and ordered lunch portions. The serving was plentiful. They did the cooking for this order. We absolutely love this place and visit regularly. The waitresses are efficient and straightforward; they’re not focused on creating a magical experience, which is exactly what we appreciate. Their priority is to take your order and serve you, returning only when needed. The prices are reasonable, but don’t expect anything extravagant—it’s a no-frills Korean BBQ experience reminiscent of our time in Korea.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. SHIK DO RAK SIGN IS UGLY. Please do not come back here. It's not good and this place makes us avoid a place that I want. Shik do rak also makes me pass Hanoo Kalbi instead of going inside If you were going on reseda blvd from calabasas hotel. I will just pick Hanoo Kalbi instead if we go to Korean BBQ.
