There was one staff who let us down. we went shimizu on wednesday around 11.20 to grab something to eat. when i entered the store, we didn't feel welcomed and the staff who were serving us were actually chewing food in her mouth and she didn't seem like it was a big deal to chew food infront of a customer. she made us feel like we were not welcomed and she was keep making cold face while serving us.

We ordered two bento box, first one came and it took awhile for the other one to come cause we wanted to eat together. Decent staff. Food was actually pretty good. I had the teriyaki tofu which came with 3 pieces of tofu, rice, sushi, miso soup, a salad and a cute little fruit jelly . So adorable :) all this for around $14. We ended up being so full for anything else which is a good sign. Thank you!
40 degree today, and yet they still not want to turn their aircon on.....asked them, get answered that they already turned the air con on but because the door is open hence the heat keeps coming in.... well, pls go other stores and see how they deal with this issue.....is this some kind of marketing strategy so we all have to buy a cold drink? Anyway, food is okay, but i personally not recommend it.

Today the weather was a bit warm... I don't think they have an air conditioner.. I was starving... And quick got out from there. The food was not too bad... It's affordable. They need to check sticky wasabi plastic bottle and soy sauce... Other than that.. It's an ok Japanese cafe after you done a bit of shopping
We came here for a quick lunch..I ordered karage chicken and tobiko roll.
But we got chicken katsu instead.
But no complaint. Their katsu chicken was nice and crispy.
The tobiko roll..I wish they use prawn instead of crab stick. It would be really nice????????
Service was OK
Decent sushi for what you pay! Probably one of the best places to eat at Watertown. Staff are polite, sushi is fresh and the restaurant is light and bright and inviting to sit down and dine in post shopping. I really like the Katsu Chicken, and the Miso is lovely.
Friday night shopping starts with a full tummy at shimizu, we love ordering the bento box! Quick service, fresh food & we are obsessed with the bento boxes! Love the miso soup & the jelly dessert to finish off :)

Decent japanese sushi and katsu-don ideal for quick rest in the mids of shopping spree! Price is a but expensive in relative to your portion. Taste is allright. Super friendly staff, though! Okay, back to shopping!
Clean sushi restaurant. This place is pretty reliable. I have eaten here over 6 times. Only complaint is sometimes I would like my sashimi colder. Good value and healthy choices while you shop. Great tea!
