"Amazing flavors. At first, we weren’t sure how to get started and didn’t receive any guidance, so we asked. It’s pretty straightforward—just grill the food yourself, cook, and enjoy. Next time, I’d definitely order more meat. The meat was delicious and a better value compared to the veggies, which seemed a bit pricey for what you get. Overall, the prices are reasonable. I’ll definitely be returning! Price per person: $20–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5"

I’m from Sydney and visited Shingeki Yakiniku on a weekend getaway with the boys for a special occasion. Without a doubt, it’s one of the best Japanese BBQ restaurants I’ve ever been to. I requested a private function room, which they kindly accommodated. The service was outstanding—every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuine. The food was incredibly fresh, and if something was unavailable, they took the time to explain personally before returning to the kitchen. Having been to numerous Japanese BBQs in Sydney, I can confidently say this ranks among the best I’ve experienced recently. Thank you, Shingeki Yakiniku Hobart—we’ll definitely be back soon! The food at Shingeki Yakiniku is exceptional in quality, but the service leaves much to be desired. I found hairs on the chicken fillet, which was quite off-putting. Moreover, I was overcharged by $56 for items that mysteriously appeared on the bill, which we never ordered. If we hadn’t checked carefully, we would have paid extra for nothing. I highly recommend scrutinizing your bill if you dine here. Food: 4/5 Service: 1/5 Atmosphere: 2/5 Price per person: $100–120 Dinner, dine-in.
