I ate here on the public holiday so paid 15% extra. My meal came to $26.00 for a mango smoothie and a smashed avocado with a poached egg. The smoothie alone was $8.00. I expected a good smoothie. It came out in a dirty glass and I queried it and the waitress said it may be just the spices, and I said okay well if it's spices then it's okay, she insisted on taking it back. It came back runny, with no flavour it tasted just like milk and mango, with all of the 'spices' removed. Not what I paid for.My friend received her meal and mine didn't come out. 15 minutes later we questioned it and then it came out another five minutes later. I chose this place on a whim. Oracle lane had jazz playing and I wanted to sit and enjoy it. This place was moderately busy and it's menu was comprehensive and moderately priced. However; the staff were absent personality and bordering inept. As I waited the 30 minutes for my smashed avocado brunch I was constantly distracted by flummoxed staff delivering incorrect orders and shambling about the alfresco trying to keep up with the moderate tempo. Perhaps it was busier than it appeared? But it was anything but relaxed. But the live jazz was brilliant.
Decided to give this place another go as the location is so handy but never again! Terrible service, sour staff almost rude and no personality whatsoever. Food is below average and yet pricey. Had scrambled eggs - worst I've ever been served in my life. Small amount and completely tasteless and dry even tho I asked for them to be easy/soft! Don't think they even listened. The only thing going for this cafe is the location otherwise you'd be out of business. Need to take a look at your competitors especially Crema Espresso!
I wish I had read the reviews before we went here for breakfast. Our tasteless coffees came out pretty promptly but we waited ages for a very simple eggs breakfast . We asked several times when our breakfast was coming and kept being told "in a few minutes" which wasn't true. I think customers have to be told if they are delays in the kitchen - that way we can make a choice ie to order something different or go elsewhere. There are great places in the vicinity - don't go here.

Came here with a crew of business friends and when ordering, we were told there was a 20-30 minute delay. This was ok as we had 45 minutes until our conference started. Coffees came out after 35 minutes. Food 5 minutes later. Sympathise that they were under staffed but with only 4 tables they should have done better and the business owner needs to be aware that multiple groups were annoyed. Needs to greatly improve before giving it another shot.
The food from what appears to be a great cafe is absolutely ****.It was so bad that we didnt eat the food and went around the corner for some real food as opposed to what they served up to us.Our 6 and 7 year olds tried the "burgers" from the kids menu which was nothing more that a handful of fries with a slider sized burger.If you want to waste your money and go hungry, this is the place for you
We made a big mistake choosing this outlet. The staff looked as though they had come straight from a night club with dirty clothes. The coffee tasted like cardboard and returned the first one and the replacement was not much better. The toast was simply thin toast from a sliced loaf, not what I would expect at a coffee shop. Walked away most unhappy and found another coffee shop with real coffee
The Healthy Choice meal was well put together, bar the white bread. The coffee was very weak and without taste or texture. Service is nothing to rave about, not a welcoming place, no smiles, the waitress looks scared and slow...

I only went for coffee. The double shot coffee was good and hot. The flat white was weak but hot. The service was reasonably fast.
Coffee tasted like water, not good at all. Food was OK. Waitress needs more training. All in all not a positive experience!
